The Merida Reacto series uses advanced techniques to guarantee an optimal balance between speed and comfort. The foundation is formed by Nano Matrix Carbon technology, where the resin is reinforced with nanoparticles to significantly increase the impact resistance of the frame. During the production process, the Anti Wrinkle System is applied, where internal silicone molds ensure a smooth finish without wrinkles on the inside of the tubes. This results in a construction that is both lighter and more reliable.

The aerodynamic design is based on the NACA Fastback profile. These teardrop-shaped tubes are flattened at the rear to efficiently guide airflow while keeping the weight low. To compensate for the stiffness of the frame, the S-Flex seatpost was developed. By integrating a cutout with an elastomer in the seatpost, vibrations from the road surface are absorbed without losing aerodynamic advantages.

Another specific innovation is the Disc Cooler technology.
