With its modern looks and tubeless-ready rim, it is the smartest upgrade for anyone looking to switch from aluminum to carbon. Extremely durable, fast, and designed for years of intensive use in all weather conditions.

Technology

The TYRO 2.0 uses a proven DARC profile (Double Arc) that effectively reduces air resistance. The rim is made from durable carbon, providing high stiffness for direct power transfer. Equipped with the FFWD Ratchet hub system, based on proven technology that ensures reliable operation and easy maintenance without the need for special tools.

Thanks to the low weight starting at just 1640 grams total, the TYRO feels at home both in the lowlands and in high mountains. Optimized for high speeds with lateral stiffness to win sprints and improve your PRs on every climb.

  • The TYRO features a "Ratchet" hub instead of the "Pawl" system used by almost every other wheel brand in this price range. The Ratchet system provides faster engagement, is more durable, and requires less maintenance. Built to last!
  • The TYRO wheels have exactly the same build quality as their bigger (more expensive) brothers, the RAW and the RYOT.

Modern Tubeless Ready Rims

The 45mm high carbon rims of the TYRO Rim Brake meet all modern requirements of today. The internal rim width is optimized for mounting tires up to 44mm, making the TYRO suitable for road bikes as well as cyclocross and gravel bikes. That’s what we mean by maximum versatility! Of course, the TYRO rims are tubeless ready, and the wheels are always delivered standard with tubeless tape installed and tubeless valves.
