Description

The Streem Sprint 60/66 is designed for one purpose: pure speed. The 60mm front wheel offers the perfect balance between aero advantage and stability, while the 66mm rear wheel minimizes air resistance. The VONOA carbon spokes not only save hundreds of grams in weight but also increase lateral stiffness, ensuring every watt is directly converted into forward drive.

Technology

The heart of this wheelset is the NEWMEN Fade rear hub, which is extremely quiet and designed for long-lasting performance without extra resistance. The VONOA spokes are directly attached to the hub and can be individually replaced, which is unique for carbon spokes. The rims use an aerodynamically optimized profile specifically tested for stability in varying wind angles.

Technical Information / Description
The favorite wheelset of the sprinters from Team Intermarché-Wanty: The combination of a 60 mm high front wheel and a 66 mm rear rim offers the best compromise between crosswind stability and low air resistance. The hooked rim with an internal width of 22 mm guarantees optimal aerodynamics for tires up to 30 mm wide. The external rim width of 32 mm provides the foundation for a stiff aero wheelset and maximum speed in sprint finishes. For less air turbulence, we also rely on the integrated aero valve of the Streem VONOA, which is fully recessed into the carbon rim. The result: better aerodynamics and a sleeker appearance.

Moreover, the Streem Sprint VONOA set is one of the fastest aero wheels in the 60 mm class, as our measurements in the GST wind tunnel in Immenstaad have shown. This makes it the first choice for flat terrain. The aero set reduces air resistance better than many competitors, especially above and below an attack angle of 10 degrees. What’s more, the VONOA carbon spokes make it one of the lightest models in its class with a weight of 1355 grams.
