By using VONOA carbon spokes, the wheel responds instantly to every pace acceleration, while the low profile ensures the bike remains extremely manageable on technical descents with strong winds. This is every mountain goat’s dream looking for the ultimate performance upgrade for their climbing bike.

Technology

This wheelset uses 'Internal Aero Valve' technology, where the valve is completely recessed into the rim for a sleeker look and less turbulence. The carbon layup of the rim is specifically reinforced at the points where spoke tension is highest, resulting in an extremely low weight combined with maximum reliability. The Fade hubs are equipped with high-quality seals for use in all weather conditions.

Technical Information / Description
Our lightest Streem Aero wheelset for the mountains. We combine a 35 mm rim on the front wheel with a 38 mm rim height on the rear wheel. The internal rim width of 22 mm is perfect for modern tires up to 28 mm wide. Thanks to the external rim width of 29.5 mm, the Streem Climbing maintains its excellent aerodynamic properties, even with wider tires.

The key component is the VONOA Aerowide carbon spokes. They not only weigh 40 percent less than comparable steel spokes but are also much stiffer. The result is that the front wheel requires only 15 spokes, while 18 aero carbon spokes make the rear wheel sturdy. For less air turbulence, we also rely on the integrated aero valve of the Streem VONOA, which is fully recessed into the carbon rim. The result: better aerodynamics and a sleeker appearance. The 1035 gram Streem Climbing set is therefore not only a specialist for mountainous stages but also an ultralight all-rounder with uncompromising aerodynamics.
