Description

De RYOT is de benchmark voor moderne all-round prestaties op de weg. Met het revolutionaire LAW Tech velgprofiel snijden deze wielen door de wind, terwijl ze opvallend stabiel blijven bij harde zijwind. De royale interne breedte is geoptimaliseerd voor 28mm tubeless banden, wat resulteert in een lager energieverbruik en merkbaar meer comfort tijdens lange ritten. Of je nu de bergen in gaat met de RYOT 33 of tijdritrecords jaagt met de RYOT 77, deze wielset tilt je fietsprestaties naar een professioneel niveau.

Technology

De kern van de RYOT is deLAW Tech (Laminar Airflow Wing)technologie. Dit profiel is breder en ronder dan traditionele aero-velgen, waardoor de luchtstroom vloeiend over de overgang van band naar velg glijdt. Hierdoor wordt de luchtweerstand drastisch verlaagd, zelfs onder grote hoeken van de wind. De wielen zijn gespaakt met Sapim CX-Ray aero-spaken en messing nippels voor de perfecte balans tussen aerodynamica en een lange levensduur.

The TYRO stands for maximum versatility. Not only because these wheels are available in almost all possible variations, but especially because they can be used in all conditions and on any terrain.

Thanks to their low weight, starting from just 1640 grams total, the TYRO feels at home both in flatlands and high mountains. Optimized for high speeds with lateral stiffness for winning sprints and improving your PRs on every climb.

Some unique USPs we absolutely want to highlight are:

  • The TYRO features a "Ratchet" hub instead of the "Pawl" system used by almost every other wheel brand in this price range. The Ratchet system provides quicker engagement, is more durable, and requires less maintenance. Built to last!
  • The TYRO wheels have exactly the same build quality as their larger (more expensive) siblings, the RAW and the RYOT.
  • The TYRO is produced entirely in-house by our skilled wheel builders, and each wheel undergoes a very thorough check before being shipped.

Modern tubeless ready rims

The 45mm high carbon rims of the TYRO Rim Brake meet all modern requirements. The internal width of the rim is optimized for mounting tires up to 44mm, making the TYRO suitable for road bikes, cyclocross, and gravel bikes. That's what we mean by maximum versatility! Of course, the TYRO rims are tubeless-ready, and the wheels always come standard with tubeless tape mounted and tubeless valves.
