Description

In de bergen telt elke gram, en de Streem Climbing 35/38 zet de nieuwe standaard. Door het gebruik van VONOA carbon spaken reageert het wiel direct op elke tempoversnelling, terwijl het lage profiel ervoor zorgt dat de fiets uiterst hanteerbaar blijft in technische afdalingen met veel wind. Dit is de droom van elke berggeit die op zoek is naar de ultieme performance-upgrade voor zijn klimfiets.

Technology

Deze wielset maakt gebruik van de 'Internal Aero Valve' technologie, waarbij het ventiel volledig in de velg verdwijnt voor een strakker uiterlijk en minder turbulentie. De carbon layup van de velg is specifiek versterkt op de plekken waar de spaakspanning het hoogst is, waardoor een extreem laag gewicht gecombineerd wordt met maximale betrouwbaarheid. De Fade-naven zijn voorzien van hoogwaardige afdichtingen voor gebruik in alle weersomstandigheden.

Technical information / description
Our lightest Streem Aero wheelset for the mountains. We combine a 35 mm rim on the front wheel with a 38 mm rim depth on the rear wheel. The internal rim width of 22 mm is perfect for modern tires up to 28 mm wide. Thanks to the external rim width of 29.5 mm, the Streem Climbing maintains its excellent aerodynamic properties even with wider tires.

The key component is the VONOA Aerowide carbon spokes. They not only weigh 40 percent less than comparable steel spokes, but are also much stiffer. As a result, the front wheel only needs 15 spokes, while 18 aero carbon spokes make the rear wheel robust. For less air turbulence, we also rely on the integrated aero valve of the Streem VONOA, which completely disappears into the carbon rim. The result: better aerodynamics and a cleaner look. The 1035 gram Streem Climbing set is therefore not only a specialist for mountainous stages, but also an ultralight all-rounder with uncompromising aerodynamics.
