Description

For road cyclists who love speed and the unmistakable look of deep carbon wheels, the F6R is the perfect match. With a rim height of 60mm, this wheelset cuts through the wind and helps you maintain high cruising speeds with noticeably less effort. The F6R is specifically designed for stability at high speeds, making it ideal for fast rides on open roads, time trials, or triathlons where aerodynamics make all the difference.

Technology

The F6R makes optimal use of theDARC rim profile, where the specific design creates negative pressure on the spoke side of the rim, resulting in forward thrust (the sail effect). The carbon structure is additionally reinforced around the spoke holes to effortlessly handle the high spoke tension of a 60mm rim. Combined with Sapim CX-Ray spokes, this creates an extremely stiff wheel that converts every pedal stroke directly into pure speed.

  • The TYRO features a "Ratchet" hub instead of the "Pawl" system used by almost every other wheel brand in this price range. The Ratchet system provides faster engagement, is more durable, and requires less maintenance. Built to last!
  • The TYRO wheels have exactly the same build quality as their bigger (more expensive) brothers, the RAW and the RYOT.

Modern Tubeless Ready Rims

The 45mm high carbon rims of the TYRO Rim Brake meet all modern requirements of today. The internal rim width is optimized for mounting tires up to 44mm, making the TYRO suitable for road bikes as well as cyclocross and gravel bikes. That’s what we mean by maximum versatility! Of course, the TYRO rims are tubeless ready, and the wheels are always delivered standard with tubeless tape installed and tubeless valves.
